Job Responsibilities

As a Drug Safety Physician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Review published biomedical literature to identify adverse event case reports.
  • Evaluate scientific publications for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and non-individual case reports.
  • Apply global regulatory guidelines and internal SOPs for literature assessment.
  • Perform relevance assessment according to accepted pharmacovigilance industry standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to literature screening teams regarding inclusion criteria.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to maintain high-quality physician review standards.
  • Support additional pharmacovigilance and medical review activities assigned by team leads.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • MBBS or MD degree from a recognized institution.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety.
  • Foreign medical graduates must possess FMGE clearance.
  • Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance regulations and global safety reporting requirements.
