Job Responsibilities
As a Drug Safety Physician, your responsibilities will include:
- Review published biomedical literature to identify adverse event case reports.
- Evaluate scientific publications for Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and non-individual case reports.
- Apply global regulatory guidelines and internal SOPs for literature assessment.
- Perform relevance assessment according to accepted pharmacovigilance industry standards.
- Provide training and guidance to literature screening teams regarding inclusion criteria.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to maintain high-quality physician review standards.
- Support additional pharmacovigilance and medical review activities assigned by team leads.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- MBBS or MD degree from a recognized institution.
- 0–3 years of relevant experience in Pharmacovigilance or Drug Safety.
- Foreign medical graduates must possess FMGE clearance.
- Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance regulations and global safety reporting requirements.
