Key Responsibilities
Local PV System Implementation & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to local and global pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Oversee PV operations, identify compliance risks, and implement corrective actions.
Integration of Global & Local Safety Priorities
- Align global safety strategies with local business objectives.
- Act as the primary contact for internal and external safety-related matters.
Physician Engagement & Real-World Safety Insights
- Collaborate with treating physicians to gather safety data and implement actionable solutions.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Drive collaboration across medical affairs, regulatory, and clinical teams to enhance patient safety.
- Leverage global best practices to improve safety frameworks.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead an agile, self-managing PV team with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and skill development.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong PV Expertise: Deep understanding of global and local pharmacovigilance regulations.
- Leadership & Strategic Thinking: Ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and drive strategic initiatives.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Knowledge of patient journeys, healthcare systems, and integrated care solutions.
- Educational Background:
- MD, HCP (Healthcare Professional), or PhD in Life Sciences
- Master’s in Public Health or Pharmaceutical Medicine (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience:
- Significant affiliate-level PV experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Prior roles in Medical Affairs or Clinical Operations (advantageous).
