Research Associate – Bioanalytical Lab Responsibilities
The Research Associate will support bioanalytical laboratory activities and ensure assigned work is conducted according to applicable procedures, protocols and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and validate bioanalytical methods.
- Process and analyze samples for assigned projects.
- Operate LC-MS/MS instruments and other analytical instruments.
- Perform instrument calibration and troubleshooting.
- Prepare draft methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Follow system-specific and method-specific SOPs.
- Work according to applicable plans and protocols.
- Complete required training before starting relevant laboratory activities.
- Support implementation of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements.
- Follow 21 CFR Part 11 requirements for applicable computerized systems and electronic records.
- Check instrument labels and equipment documentation.
- Ensure laboratory logbooks are complete and maintained appropriately.
- Verify that equipment and instrument calibration is completed before the due date.
- Work according to OECD GLP principles.
