It provides technical assistance, capacity building, and strategic planning support to strengthen India’s public health system. NHSRC plays a key role in policy formulation, program implementation, and health system strengthening across states and districts.
Eligibility Criteria for Pharmacy Graduates
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) / Medicine / Dental / Nursing / AYUSH / Allied Medical Sciences
- Postgraduate degree (MPH, MD, MBA in Healthcare, or equivalent) from a recognized university
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in public health programs, NHM, or healthcare management
- Published at least 2 research papers in indexed journals
- Proficiency in English & Hindi
- Strong experience in health policy, program implementation, and district-level healthcare strengthening
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in government health programs (NHM, Ayushman Bharat, etc.)
- Field experience in district/block-level healthcare
- Data analysis, research, and policy advocacy skills
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for health programs like PMABHIM, XV-FC, Maternal & Child Health, Emergency Care, etc.
- Develop guidelines, training modules, and policy documents
- Conduct field visits, monitor program implementation, and analyze health data
- Assist in PIP appraisals, health planning, and capacity building
- Coordinate with MoHFW, state governments, and other stakeholders
- Lead research studies and publish findings
