Job Description – Associate Medical Writer
As an Associate Medical Writer at Novo Nordisk, you will play a crucial role in developing clinical and regulatory documents, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Moderating discussions with study groups for protocol and study report development
- Coordinating document reviews, consolidating feedback, and managing version control
- Ensuring audit preparedness and maintaining high-quality documentation
- Conducting systematic literature searches and summarizing findings
- Supporting medical and marketing activities, including expert meetings and conferences
- Preparing study protocols, non-interventional study reports, and investigator brochures
- Developing abstracts, congress posters, and scientific presentations
- Collaborating with global medical directors and cross-functional teams
Qualifications & Experience Required
To be considered for this medical writing job in Bangalore, you should have:
- A degree in life sciences, medicine, or pharmacy (Master’s or PhD preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in medical writing (pharma/healthcare industry)
- Strong expertise in clinical documents (protocols, study reports, IBs)
- Knowledge of real-world studies (RWS) and therapeutic areas like diabetes, obesity, MASH
- Experience in literature reviews, abstracts, and scientific publications
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines (GCP, ICH, etc.)
