Piramal Apprentices Job Responsibilities
Selected apprentices will support pharmaceutical manufacturing and production activities while following applicable safety, quality, and cGMP requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Allocating workmen to different workstations on a shift-to-shift basis.
- Following gowning procedures and personnel hygiene requirements as per SOPs.
- Using appropriate personal protective equipment according to the PPE matrix.
- Ensuring smooth operations by addressing manpower-related issues and reporting machine breakdowns.
- Supervising line operations and participating in validation activities according to approved protocols.
- Maintaining cGMP practices and completing required manufacturing documentation.
- Participating in processing and documentation of trial batches.
- Filling and checking Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) before submission to superiors.
- Handling minor machine parameter-setting issues related to equipment and products.
- Monitoring machine speed and production output according to runtime.
- Providing on-the-job and classroom training to workmen and supervisors on SOPs and cGMP systems.
- Conducting induction activities for new employees.
- Monitoring and reporting unauthorized movement of workmen from production lines.
- Supporting the section in-charge and taking responsibility for the section when required.
- Assisting in the preparation and revision of SOPs.
- Reporting day-to-day activities in the SAP system, where an SAP user ID is available.
- Verifying daily and monthly balances.
- Participating in machine qualification activities.
- Checking calibration tags of equipment, instruments, and fire extinguishers for validity.
- Participating in the Daily Management System.
- Supporting activities related to ISO 14000 and ISO 13485 systems.
- Performing line clearance during batch changeovers.
- Conducting in-process testing as defined in the Batch Manufacturing Record.
- Preparing Material Return Notes (MRN) and Material Requisition Notes (MRQN).
- Reviewing Batch Manufacturing Records and other quality-related documents.
- Performing other duties assigned by the supervisor or company.
