Job Description: Research Scientist – Analytical Development (AD)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, LCMS, GC, Prep HPLC, SFC, Prep SFC, KF, and SOR along with associated software.
- Perform method development and validation for RM, intermediates, and final products using HPLC/GC.
- Provide in-process analysis support using HPLC/GC techniques.
- Conduct calibration of HPLC and GC instruments as per regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare SOPs, GDLs, STPs, and analytical reports in compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot analytical instruments (HPLC/GC) and data interpretation for purity confirmation.
- Perform isolation and purification of products, known/unknown impurities using Prep HPLC.
- Ensure adherence to ICH guidelines for analytical method development.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry or Organic Chemistry
- 2-7 years of experience in Analytical Development Lab (ADL) within CRO/API industry
- Strong knowledge of HPLC, GC, method development, and validation
- Familiarity with ICH guidelines, GMP, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent documentation and troubleshooting skills
