Responsibilities in Job
As a key member of the Formulation Development – Solid Oral Department, your responsibilities will include:
- Development and Optimization: Develop and optimize solid oral dosage forms (tablets, capsules, etc.) in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring the highest quality and effectiveness.
- Formulation and Process Optimization: Lead formulation development, stability studies, and process optimization for oncology-related solid oral formulations.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Research & Development (R&D), Quality Control, and Production teams to ensure timely product development and seamless transition from lab-scale to commercial production.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Investigate and resolve formulation and process issues, ensuring minimal disruptions in the product development lifecycle.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation in line with internal SOPs, cGMP, and regulatory standards. Ensure that all activities are compliant with industry regulations.
- Regulatory Filings Support: Assist in preparing regulatory filings and product dossiers, ensuring that all required documentation is submitted for market approvals.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate should have:
- Educational Qualification: A Master’s degree (M.Pharm) in Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in formulation development for solid oral dosage forms (experience in oncology formulations is a plus).
- Solid Oral Formulation Development: Proven experience with the development of tablets, capsules, and other solid oral dosage forms.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Guidelines: Strong understanding of cGMP, ICH, and regulatory guidelines such as USP and European guidelines.
