Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological method development and validation for oral and non-oral formulations
- Conduct routine microbiological analysis including:
- Microbial Enumeration Test
- Test for Specified Microorganisms
- Bioburden Testing
- Sterility Testing
- Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET)
- Antimicrobial Effectiveness Testing (AET)
- Microbiological Assays
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and GLP standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity practices
- Support regulatory requirements and audit readiness
- Troubleshoot microbiological issues and optimize analytical methods
Qualifications & Skills
- M.Sc in Microbiology (mandatory)
- 2–5 years of experience in Analytical Development Microbiology
- Strong knowledge of:
- cGMP / GLP guidelines
- Microbiological techniques and testing
- Method validation protocols
- Experience in pharmaceutical formulation testing (oral & non-oral)
- Good documentation and analytical skills
