Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for the following activities:
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, GxP, and EHS requirements in the molecular biology laboratory.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation according to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
- Perform and monitor routine molecular biology testing according to approved Standard Testing Procedures (STPs), SOPs, protocols, and raw-data requirements.
- Conduct system suitability testing, calibration, qualification, and performance verification of molecular biology and associated analytical instruments.
- Troubleshoot molecular biology analytical systems, chromatographic anomalies, methods, and instrument-related issues.
- Troubleshoot instruments such as UV crosslinkers, microplate spectrophotometers, UV spectrophotometers, and hybridization-related equipment.
- Perform basic data interpretation and verify that assay controls meet acceptance criteria.
- Review electronic data, verify audit trails, check logbooks, and maintain controlled data management practices.
- Participate in OOS, OOT, deviation, and instrument/system failure investigations, including root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
- Collaborate with QA, QC, and cross-functional teams on investigations, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Manage laboratory inventory, including specialized reagents and control materials.
- Perform and monitor analytical method validation, method verification, and method transfers for new molecular targets, assays, and other required tests.
- Coordinate with vendors for specialized laboratory instrumentation, service contracts, calibration, and technical support.
