Job Description: Scientist I, Protein Biology
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute experiments meticulously to meet program goals.
- Maintain accurate records of results in data sheets and lab notebooks.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in antibody development through literature review.
- Present data in written and oral formats, actively participating in team meetings.
- Ensure strict adherence to schedules with attention to detail.
Candidate Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Masters in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry) with 0-3 years of experience
- OR a PhD in a relevant life sciences field
- Project/work experience in antibody development, protein engineering, or related areas (thesis, publications, or project reports)
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience in antibody development, design, engineering, or conjugation
- Proficiency in immunoassays (Western blotting, ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, IHC)
- Strong knowledge of protein analysis (structure-function studies, mutational analysis)
- Expertise in molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, nucleic acid extraction)
- Familiarity with statistical software (Prism) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
