About the Role
The selected professional will work in Formulation Analytical Research & Development, supporting analytical activities associated with complex pharmaceutical formulations. The role requires hands-on expertise in chromatographic and analytical techniques along with knowledge of ICH, GMP, GLP, Data Integrity, and QbD principles.
Candidates should have practical experience with analytical method development and optimization and be capable of supporting formulation development, scale-up, technology transfer, investigations, and regulatory submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, validate, verify, and transfer analytical methods.
- Develop and evaluate stability-indicating analytical methods.
- Perform forced degradation studies and evaluate stability data.
- Conduct testing for assay, related substances/impurities, dissolution or drug release, content uniformity, and preservatives.
- Perform analytical testing using HPLC and UPLC.
- Work with GC/Headspace GC, LC-MS/MS, ion chromatography (IC), UV-Visible spectroscopy, FTIR, and Karl Fischer (KF).
- Perform dissolution and drug-release studies.
- Support particle-size, zeta-potential, and rheology-related analytical activities.
- Support formulation development, scale-up, and technology-transfer activities.
- Provide analytical support for regulatory submissions.
- Investigate deviations, OOS, OOT, and analytical method-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmaceutical quality and laboratory standards.
