Job Overview
As a Clinical Data Scientist at AstraZeneca, you will play a crucial role in configuring and maintaining Centralised Monitoring (CM) systems to support clinical studies. You will work closely with data scientists, ensuring seamless system functionality, documentation, and implementation of CM analytics for ongoing and new projects.
Key Responsibilities
✔ System Configuration & Maintenance: Set up data sources, working spaces, and repositories for new studies.
✔ Documentation & Compliance: Maintain CM system documentation and ensure adherence to protocols.
✔ Development & Testing: Assist in developing low-complexity CM functionalities, including programming, validation, and testing.
✔ Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to support data monitoring and analysis in clinical trials.
Essential Qualifications
✅ Educational Background: BSc/MSc/PhD in Life Science, Computer Science, or Information Science.
✅ Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of programming languages (R preferred) for data analysis.
✅ Experience: Prior exposure to clinical studies, data management, or BI platforms is a plus.
✅ Communication: Strong written and verbal English skills.
Desirable Skills
