Job Responsibilities
1. Production (Formulation Manufacturing)
Selected trainees will receive practical exposure to pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing operations including:
- Assist in operating High Shear Mixers, Fluid Bed Dryers, Compression Machines and Packaging Lines.
- Support manufacturing activities according to SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
- Learn Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) and Batch Packaging Record (BPR) documentation.
- Perform line clearance activities before manufacturing and packaging.
- Monitor cleanroom conditions including differential pressure, temperature and humidity.
- Assist in material handling activities.
- Participate in equipment cleaning and area sanitation.
2. Quality Assurance (QA/IPQA)
QA trainees will learn pharmaceutical quality systems and compliance activities including:
- Perform in-process quality checks during manufacturing.
- Conduct hardness, friability, dissolution, disintegration, weight variation and seal integrity checks.
- Collect in-process and finished product samples.
- Support documentation control and issuance.
- Learn GMP compliance monitoring.
- Gain exposure to Quality Management System (QMS) activities.
3. Quality Control (QC)
QC trainees will work alongside analytical scientists and learn laboratory operations including:
- Perform chemical and physical testing under supervision.
- Operate UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, pH Meter, Analytical Balance and Dissolution Apparatus.
- Learn Karl Fischer Titration techniques.
- Assist in sample preparation for HPLC and Gas Chromatography.
- Prepare reagents and laboratory standards.
- Record laboratory data following Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Data Integrity principles.
