Job Description
CSIR-NCL Pune is seeking highly motivated candidates with a background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related fields for the position of Project Associate-I. The selected candidate will work on an interdisciplinary research project involving oxygen and nitrogen electrochemistry, nanomaterial synthesis, and surface spectroscopy studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on structure-activity correlations in oxygen and nitrogen electrochemistry.
- Perform nanomaterial synthesis and characterization using advanced spectroscopy techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for experimental and analytical studies.
- Document research findings and contribute to scientific publications.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- MSc/Integrated MSc in Natural/Agricultural/Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry (General/Physical/Inorganic), or related fields.
- OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Specialization in Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, or Nanomaterial Science.
- Prior experience in nanomaterial synthesis and spectroscopy techniques.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 35 years (Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PWD/Women, 3 years for OBC).
Salary & Benefits
- ₹31,000 + HRA (For candidates with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/ICMR/ICAR/DBT/DST qualifications).
- ₹25,000 + HRA (For others).
- Temporary position (6 months, extendable based on performance).
