Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will contribute to advanced drug discovery programs and biological research activities.
Assay Development & Execution
- Design and develop biochemical assays including:
- Luminescence assays
- TR-FRET
- AlphaScreen
- SPR
- FACS assays
- Develop robust cell-based assays for target engagement, potency, and selectivity.
- Perform hit confirmation, hit triage, and counter-screening.
- Develop mechanistic assays including binding kinetics and target occupancy studies.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor 2–4 Research Associates.
- Allocate scientific tasks and monitor project timelines.
- Ensure data integrity, scientific quality, and timely project completion.
Data Analysis & Scientific Strategy
- Analyze experimental data using:
- GraphPad Prism
- Microsoft Excel
- Spotfire
- Support medicinal chemistry through SAR analysis.
- Prepare scientific reports, study plans, and technical presentations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Medicinal Chemistry and DMPK teams.
- Implement emerging technologies including:
- Organoids
- iPSC models
- CRISPR platforms
- Coordinate with CROs for assay transfer and specialized screening activities.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
- M.Sc in Biology/Biochemistry with 6–8 years of relevant experience
OR - PhD in Biology/Biochemistry with minimum 2 years of industrial experience
