Role and Responsibilities
As a Junior Research Fellow (JRF), your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in vivo animal experiments and laboratory sample processing.
- Performing statistical analysis and managing project documentation.
- Coordinating project activities and contributing to academic publications.
- Assisting in departmental functions and fostering collaborative research.
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Master’s degree with First Class in Pharmacology or Pharmacology and Toxicology.
- Qualification in GPAT/GATE/NET (UGC/CSIR/ICAR).
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in animal handling and in vivo experimentation.
- Expertise in techniques such as intracerebroventricular drug administration, disease model development, and animal cell culture.
- Experience in animal surgical techniques and publishing in JCR/SCI impact journals.
Compensation
- Monthly Stipend: ₹35,000 plus 27% HRA.
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 years.
- Relaxation of up to 5 years for women, SC/ST/OBC, and differently-abled candidates as per Government of India rules.
