Key Responsibilities – Drug Safety Operations Lead

  • Lead end-to-end pharmacovigilance operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards
  • Manage and mentor teams involved in ICSR processing, literature review, and PV workflows
  • Act as the primary client contact for operational discussions, escalations, and risk mitigation
  • Monitor productivity, workflow efficiency, and quality metrics across PV projects
  • Handle resource planning, WIP management, and delivery timelines
  • Identify and mitigate operational and compliance risks proactively
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance PV delivery outcomes
  • Ensure alignment between quality, compliance, and commercial objectives

Qualifications & Eligibility

  • Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / PharmD / Life Sciences or related field
  • Experience:
    • 6–12 years in pharmacovigilance / drug safety operations
    • 2–4 years in team leadership or operations management
  • Strong experience in:
    • ICSR processing & case management
    • Literature surveillance & aggregate reporting support
    • PV compliance, SLA/KPI management, and workflow optimization
  • Proven ability to manage client communication and escalations
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills

Preferred Skills (Drug Safety & PV Jobs)

  • Expertise in global pharmacovigilance regulations
  • Experience in risk management and quality compliance
  • Ability to balance delivery excellence with cost efficiency
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
