1. R&D Chemist / Scientist – Peptide Synthesis
Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry
Experience: 2–7 years of relevant industrial experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform peptide synthesis using Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) and Liquid Phase Peptide Synthesis (LPPS).
- Support peptide synthesis and scale-up from milligram and gram quantities to kilogram scale.
- Handle coupling, deprotection, and cleavage techniques.
- Perform molar and mass balance calculations for long and complex peptides.
- Conduct process development, optimization, troubleshooting, and yield improvement.
- Identify and control process-related impurities to improve process robustness.
- Generate, analyze, interpret, compile, and present scientific and experimental data.
- Follow GMP requirements, laboratory practices, and technical documentation procedures.
Experience in scale-up, technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing, and peptide API development and manufacturing will be an added advantage.
2. Chemist / Production Executive – Peptide Purification
Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Biochemistry
Experience: 2–8 years of relevant industrial experience
Key Responsibilities
- Perform peptide purification at milligram, gram, and kilogram scales.
- Operate Preparative HPLC, Flash Chromatography, and DAC (Dynamic Axial Compression) columns.
- Develop, optimize, and scale up chromatographic separation methods.
- Improve purity, recovery, productivity, and purification yield.
- Interpret analytical data, including HPLC, LC-MS, and amino acid analysis.
- Troubleshoot purification processes and support technology transfer.
- Maintain accurate experimental and production records.
- Prepare technical reports and process documentation.
- Follow GMP requirements, regulatory compliance, SOPs, and documentation practices.
- Coordinate with synthesis, analytical, QA, and manufacturing teams.
Industrial experience in peptide API purification and downstream processing will be an added advantage.
Eligibility and Required Skills
