- Project Title: “Understanding the mechanisms related to the incompetence of immune checkpoint blockade immunotherapies in oral cancer and alternatives for Indian patients.”

- Salary: ₹72,800/- per month (₹56,000 + 30% HRA)
- Duration: 6 months (extendable based on performance)

About ACTREC
ACTREC (Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer) is a premier cancer research institute under the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), an autonomous body of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. Originally established as the Indian Cancer Research Centre (ICRC) in 1952, it was later renamed and merged with Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) to form a leading comprehensive cancer research and treatment hub in India.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- PhD in Cancer Biology or Immunology from a reputed university/institute.
- Candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis and are awaiting their degree are also eligible.
- Mandatory Experience:
- Extensive work with transplantable/inducible mouse models of cancer.
- Proficiency in multi-colour flow cytometry.
- Hands-on experience in Western blotting, Immunohistochemistry, qPCR, etc.
- Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of R-studio or similar programs for RNA-seq data analysis.
- Note: M.Sc. (1-year course) candidates will not be considered.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 35 years (as on the interview date).
Salary & Benefits
- Consolidated Salary: ₹72,800 per month (₹56,000 + 30% HRA).
- Contract Duration: Initial 6 months, extendable based on performance.
