Job Description

AIIMS is inviting applications for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) under an ICMR-funded research project. The selected candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research in molecular diagnostics for antimicrobial resistance detection in burn wound infections.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting laboratory research on molecular techniques for pathogen detection.
  • Performing experiments related to dipstick-based diagnostic methods.
  • Data analysis, documentation, and report preparation.
  • Collaborating with research teams and presenting findings.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

  • First Class Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) in Life Sciences/Pharma/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry or related fields.
  • OR Second Class PG degree with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
  • For Engineering/IT/CS Candidates: First-class four-year graduate degree (B.Tech/B.E.).

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age: 35 years (Age relaxation as per ICMR/AIIMS norms).

Salary & Emoluments:

  • As per ICMR norms for Project Research Scientist-I.
