Job Description
AIIMS Raipur is inviting applications for the position of Project Technical Support-II under an ICMR-funded project titled “To Evaluate The Potential Of Plasma Mitochondria DNA For Early GDM Prediction”. This is a contractual role for 6 months (extendable based on performance).
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and telephonic follow-up of patients.
- Blood sample collection and biobank maintenance.
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (pipetting, DNA extraction, PCR).
- Strong communication skills (Hindi & Chhattisgarhi preferred).
- Data management (MS Word, Excel) and project coordination.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- Graduate in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, or Nursing + 3 years of experience
OR - Postgraduate in a relevant discipline.
Desirable Skills:
- Hands-on experience in molecular biology lab techniques.
- Good pipetting skills and knowledge of DNA/RNA handling.
- Ability to interact with patients in Hindi/Chhattisgarhi.
Age Limit:
- Maximum 35 years (as of June 26, 2025).
