Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) and cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Environmental Monitoring:
- Conduct area monitoring as per schedule.
- Execute aseptic process validation and testing.
- Participate in process simulation activities.
- Media & PST Management:
- Maintain stock of media and pre-sterilized items.
- Ensure timely issuance as per laboratory requirements.
- Water Analysis & Microbial Limit Testing (MLT):
- Perform water analysis as per schedule.
- Conduct MLT and ensure timely pathogen testing and release.
- Maintain accurate records and dispose of samples post-analysis.
- Training & Development:
- Attend scheduled training sessions.
- Complete LMS (Learning Management System) training before deadlines.
Major Challenges:
- Timely release of test reports.
- Efficient stock management in the lab.
- Proper decontamination of materials.
Key Interactions:
- Internal: Coordination with team members for smooth workflow.
- External: Interaction with service engineers, calibration experts, and validation teams.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Post Graduate in Microbiology.
- Experience: 2-5 years in pharmaceutical microbiology/quality control.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of GLP, cGMP, aseptic processes, and microbial testing.
- Software Proficiency: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
