Job Description
Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS), a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), is hiring a Research Scientist to join their R&D team in Navi Mumbai. This role is ideal for candidates with expertise in organic synthesis, enzymatic reactions, and analytical characterization.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Design and execute multistep organic syntheses under senior guidance.
✔ Utilize enzymatic reactions in synthetic pathways.
✔ Purify compounds using column chromatography, HPLC, recrystallization, etc.
✔ Characterize molecules via NMR, LC-MS, IR, UV-Vis spectroscopy.
✔ Maintain detailed lab records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
✔ Participate in scientific discussions and contribute to research publications.
✔ Assist in preparing technical reports and presentations.
Qualifications & Skills Required
✅ M.Sc. in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry with 3-4 years of experience
✅ Fresh Ph.D. graduates in Organic Chemistry are also eligible
✅ Strong knowledge of modern synthetic techniques
✅ Hands-on experience with analytical instruments (NMR, HPLC, LC-MS)
✅ Familiarity with lab safety and chemical handling
✅ Good communication & teamwork skills
