Position: Project Fellow (01 Position)
Project Title: “Exploring Mechanism of Pathogenesis and Host-Associated Signals for Intracellular Survival”

Established: 1984, the Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTech) is part of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). The institute has made significant contributions to microbial biotechnology and operates within over 10,000 sq. ft. of R&D facilities.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Option 1:
   • Masters / Integrated Masters in Natural Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, MVSc, or Animal Sciences
   • OR
   • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent
   • Plus 2 years of Research and Development experience in Industrial, Academic Institutions, or Science and Technology Organizations.
   • OR
2. Option 2:
   • Masters / Integrated Masters in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University.

Desirable:

• 2 years of R&D experience in Infectious Disease Research, with experience in working in a BSL-3 lab.

Age Limit:

• Upper Age Limit: 35 years
  • Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates
  • Relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates

Monthly Emoluments:

1. For Candidates with NET/GATE/Equivalent Qualifications:
   Rs. 35,000/- + HRA
   (NET incl. lectureship/professorship, or those who have qualified national level examinations by DBT/DST or equivalent)
2. For Other Candidates:
   Rs. 28,000/- + HRA
