Advanced SQL & Excel Analyst – Associate Consultant
The role involves supporting the ANZ Analytics team through large-scale data analysis, recurring reporting, dashboard maintenance, data validation, and analytical support for evolving business requirements.
The initial focus will be on hands-on analytics and reporting, with opportunities to develop expertise in pharmaceutical analytics, Patient Analytics, and Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE).
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel.
- Perform descriptive and exploratory data analysis.
- Develop, refresh, and maintain dashboards using Power BI and/or MicroStrategy.
- Deliver recurring weekly and monthly analytics and reports.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality control.
- Investigate data discrepancies and identify their root causes.
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests from project teams.
- Identify opportunities to automate and standardize recurring reporting and QC processes.
- Collaborate with team members to understand analytical requirements.
- Support broader analytics requirements, including Patient Analytics and Sales Force Effectiveness, as the role evolves.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the IQVIA Advanced SQL & Excel Analyst position must meet the following requirements:
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Technology.
- 1–3 years of relevant analytics experience.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
