Job Description: Research Chemist (Analytical – NMR)
Designation:ย Research Chemist (Analytical – NMR)
Location:ย IMT Manesar, Gurgaon (NCR Region)
Industry:ย Pharmaceuticals / Research & Development
Qualification:ย M.Sc. (Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry) or M.Pharma
Experience:ย 1-2 years of relevant industrial experience in NMR
Primary Responsibilities & Key Skills:
The selected candidate will be responsible for a range of critical NMR spectroscopy functions, including:
- Conducting routine and advancedย NMR experimentsย includingย 1H NMR,ย 13C NMR,ย NOESY,ย HMBC,ย DEPT, andย HSQC.
- Performing detailedย structural elucidationย and confirmation ofย small moleculesย usingย NMR techniques.
- Developing and applyingย quantification methodsย for analysis via NMR.
- Undertaking theย routine maintenanceย of theย NMR machineย as part of day-to-day activities to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintaining detailedย protocols,ย generating reports, and ensuring all documentation forย NMR labย studies is accurate and complete.
- Adhering to all laboratoryย compliances, safety standards, andย documentation procedures.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of otherย analytical techniquesย such asย LCMS,ย HPLCย would be a significantย added advantage.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
