Symed Labs is seeking Research & Development Executives with expertise in API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) process development. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in organic chemistry and hands-on experience in spectral characterization techniques (NMR, IR, Mass Spectrometry).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development in Synthesis R&D for API processes.
- Optimize and scale up synthetic routes for pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs.
- Perform analytical characterization using NMR, IR, HPLC, and Mass Spectrometry.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and documentation practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: M.Sc in Organic Chemistry (Ph.D. candidates may also apply).
- Experience: 1-5 years in API process development.
- Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with spectral interpretation (NMR, IR, Mass).
- Familiarity with GMP, ICH guidelines, and scale-up processes.
- Preferred: Candidates from API manufacturing or CRO backgrounds.
