Key Responsibilities
- Execute chemical reactions at mg to gram scale for synthesis of compounds
- Design and follow efficient synthetic routes as per client specifications
- Ensure strict adherence to GLP and lab safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring data integrity and IP compliance
- Perform purification of compounds using advanced techniques
- Interpret analytical data using NMR, LC-MS
- Operate automated synthesizers and purification systems (preferred)
- Maintain and update Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) documentation
Required Qualifications & Skills
- M.Sc in Organic Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry
- 3–7 years of hands-on experience in Synthesis / Discovery Chemistry
- Strong knowledge of reaction mechanisms and synthetic strategies
- Experience in analytical techniques like NMR, LC-MS
- Familiarity with automated synthesis tools (preferred)
- Good documentation practices and exposure to ELN systems
