Job Description: Microbiologist Role
As a Microbiologist at Dr. Reddy’s, you will be responsible for:
- Microbiology lab operations, including temperature monitoring, culture media management, and standard culture maintenance.
- Calibration of lab equipment such as balances and pH meters.
- Sampling, analysis, and release of water and swab samples.
- Microbial Limit Testing (MLT) as per compendial methods.
- Environmental monitoring in production, warehouse, and lab areas.
- Trend analysis for water systems and environmental monitoring data.
- Ensuring compliance with GDP, GLP, GMP, and Good Microbiology Practices.
- Handling lab stock consumption and maintaining proper workflow.
- Adhering to SOPs, STPs, and SHE standards.
- Supporting additional tasks assigned by superiors.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Educational Qualification: MSc in Microbiology (mandatory).
- Experience: Prior experience in a pharmaceutical microbiology lab is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and lab equipment handling.
- Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines.
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
