Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Planning and executing multi-step organic synthesis.
- Optimizing reaction conditions for research projects.
- Interpreting analytical data including NMR, LC-MS, HPLC, and IR.
- Assigning chemical structures based on analytical observations.
- Maintaining ELN and laboratory notebooks following data integrity practices.
- Managing project timelines and client deliverables.
- Collaborating with cross-functional analytical and research teams.
- Performing moisture-sensitive and air-sensitive reactions.
- Handling scale-up chemistry activities.
- Conducting purification using column chromatography, prep-HPLC, and crystallization.
- Preparing analytical reports and weekly project updates.
- Supporting inventory management and laboratory procurement.
- Following laboratory safety guidelines, SOPs, and PPE requirements.
Required Qualification
Applicants should possess:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or Chemistry.
- 3 to 7 years of industrial experience in Synthesis R&D.
- Strong understanding of multi-step organic synthesis.
- Hands-on knowledge of analytical instruments and structural elucidation.
- Experience in reaction optimization and purification techniques.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
