Positions Available at IPCA Laboratories

1. Production – API

Designations: Chemist, Senior Chemist, Officer and Senior Officer
Experience: 2–10 years
Qualifications: B.Sc., M.Sc., B.E., B.Tech. or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Handle reactions, distillation, centrifuging and drying operations.
• Follow Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) and Batch Processing Record (BPR) protocols.
• Maintain data integrity and comply with cGMP requirements.
• Ensure accurate online documentation and safe handling of hazardous chemicals.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and optimise yield.
• Support technology transfer and scale-up activities.

2. QA and Lab QA – Formulations

Designations: Officer and Executive
Experience: 2–10 years
Qualifications: B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm. or M.Pharm.

Relevant areas of work include:

IPQA – OSD and Sterile

• Line clearance
• Sampling
• BMR/BPR review

Lab QA

• Sterile qualification and validation
• Analytical QA
• Stability studies
• Microbiological Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations

QA

3. Injection Production – Formulations

Designations: Technician, Officer and Executive

Technician – AVI Machines

Candidates should have hands-on experience in setting up, operating and troubleshooting high-speed Automatic Visual Inspection (AVI) machines for vials.

Officer/Senior Officer – Packing

The role involves:

• Packing line efficiency
• Serialization and systems
• Documentation and compliance
• Team management

Experience with Romaco vial packing machines is required.

Executive – Manufacturing

Responsibilities include:

• Managing daily compounding, formulation, aseptic filtration and vial-filling operations.
• Supervising shift operations in Grade A/B cleanrooms.
• Ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Handling deviations and investigating market complaints.
• Implementing CAPA.

Eligibility and Qualifications

Candidates should meet the qualifications and experience requirements for their respective positions.

• API Production: B.Sc., M.Sc., B.E., B.Tech. or Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
• QA and Lab QA: B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm. or M.Pharm.
• Experience: 2–10 years for positions where specified.
